The process of Annual Reviews always seems to be a painful one. Most find it excruciatingly difficult to write one. Is self-flagellation your response? Feeling inadequate about your ability to “leverage the institution”? For those doing the reviews, do you find it even harder to read a number of modest self-reflections?
