Annual Reviews - Exemplars

The process of Annual Reviews always seems to be a painful one. Most find it excruciatingly difficult to write one. Is self-flagellation your response? Feeling inadequate about your ability to “leverage the institution”? For those doing the reviews, do you find it even harder to read a number of modest self-reflections?  So, How do you solve a problem like Maria’s?

Learn from the “best and the brightest” and “benchmark”, eh?

Samples of four Annual Review self-reports from Goldman Sachs are available from the Senate Hearings (http://hsgac.senate.gov/public/_files/Financial_Crisis/042710Exhibits.pdf)

Gosh, would it not be more fun to read reports like this every year?

  1. Seems to be as valid as ever...especially now that it is that time of the year again for faculty!
